We have a long standing relationship with our favorite Lebanese lunch spot, Karams’s Restaurant and Bakery. We’ve sold and used their Hummus for many years, and through that partnership, the Za’atar Bagel was born. Za’atar is a traditional Middle Eastern spice mix made up of mostly Thyme and Sumac. We buy this spice mix in bulk from Karams and toss it directly in to the dough for a bagel that will have you wondering how you ever lived without it. Available roughly three days at a time several times a year.
