The Bonanza bagel is named after Carrie and Peter Bonanza and their fun loving family, who have been beloved customers of the Bagel Grove for many, many years. Filled and topped with a true bonanza of ingredients (a total of 7 different seeds and whole grains: pumpkin, sunflower, millet, flax, sesame, cracked whole wheat and oat) this bagel is a favorite among the Grove family as well. In 2007 Peter passed away after a long struggle with Lou Gehrig’s disease, and to this day the Bagel Grove donates a portion of their proceeds from the sale of Bonanza bagels to the ALS of Utica foundation.
